Hi guiz. I bet you are surprised as to why I've been blogging so much!
Yes yes.. I'm going to try to keep up and blog every 2 days to keep the postings consistent. One thing which demotived me before was the editing and capturing process of the photos! They take so damn long! But I've been taking photos in bulk so that's been saving me lotsa time! ^_^
Ok. Back on track, I'd like to share with you... Sukin Organics' Facial Foaming Cleanser which was sent to me [along with a toner and moisturiser] yonks ago.
If you've never heard of the brand, Sukin is an Australian-based natural skincare brand which is strictly free of chemicals whilst being environmentally concious. You will mostly likely find their products to be labelled...
The product is packaged in a semi-transparent plastic bottle with a sanitary pump.
One thing I personally dislike about the packagings are the labels. The font doesn't stand out very much, so since Sukin's cleansers and the moisturisers are packaged in almost-identical pump bottles... you can totally guess what happens when I'm in a rush.
Despite the labelling cons, I really do enjoy using this as a PM cleanser.
The product itself is a thicker gel, which doesn't foam up very much.
Speaking of foam... I find most foaming and gel cleansers to be too drying for my skin, leaving my skin feeling tight... but I'm happy to say that this cleanser is very gentle as it leaves ma' skin clean with the moisture retained. However, on days when my skin is much drier (I have combo of dry/oily skin), I do prefer a richer cleanser to cater to the drier areas.
This cleanser also helps to remove my make-up quite well! Of course not when I've slapped on longer-wearing foundations, but with tinted moisturisers or easier-to-remove foundations.. I can definitely trust this!
One last thing! I've used this since January and I'm actually almost out. So a bottle should last up to at least 2 and a half months.
Overall
True to its claims. An extremely affordable, non-drying and gentle cleanser with a thicker gel consistency and a non-artificial funky 'planty/natural' scent. Leaves the skin feeling clean without stripping down its moisture and also helps to remove lighter make-up. Contained in a semi-transparent plastic bottle with a sanitary (although might not be travel-friendly) pump. Best to use as a PM cleanser for normal/drier skin types in my opinion, as I'd go for a hydrating and richer cleanser to prime my skin before make-up application in the morning. Totally up to you though! Sensitive skins should find this gentle enough and oilier skin types.. you'd love this cleanser if you're avoiding the 'squeaky clean' after-feeling.
Has anyone tried products from Sukin?
I am currently trialling their moisturiser and I'm actually liking it so far! ^_^ I've also heard much about their lip balms and other products from the line!
Sukin Organics Facial Foaming Cleanser retails for $9.95 (125mL) at selected pharmacies, Priceline and health food stores.

I saw the cream cleanser!! ^_^ It looks so promising! I'll let you know very soon on how the moisturising lotion goes after I trial it out a bit more :') But so far so good!! ^_^
DeleteSounds great! I personally prefer cleansers that don't foam because I have combo skin that leans on the drier side.
