30 December 2010

My take on 2010! Ready for 2011!

Being so inspired by Ailing, I'm gonna post the moments of 2010 too! Only a few because this year wasn't so great. If you've followed me for a while now, you'll know that somewhere in june or july till august, I was posting so many rants up about problems with friends. blah blah blah!

Anyways, please do a post of your moments of 2010 too! It can be about anything! Family.. relationship.. friends! I follow quite a few people and I remember reading posts about them being engageddddd! Oh cute stuff!

Please share me your posts too!

#1 Graduated high school!
After 13 years of school, I've finally graduated this year. The graduation ceremony was held on the 21st of September and I was the designer of the booklet cover! Hooraay!!

I don't know what to say besides telling you all that I'll miss school very much! I remember entering school on the very first day and shifted immediately to someone I knew, Shanny. And we'd stand together every single morning just because we don't know anyone (well I didn't). Until we met friends and gradually move on with school life. Turned from groups to groups, passed my teenybooper stage & then matured, become more respectful with more manners!

Year 12 Formal was included in this package too!

#2 Discovered beauty blogs & creating one for myself
I'm happy that I've created this blog (January 16th)! I've met so many new people like... Tezza, Mish, Susie, Georgina, Jennifer, Ailing, Natasha & of course, I already know my school friends Alice & Viv! There are many more people I've met who's been very generous. I remember for the rant postings.. there were gals who read (even tho the post was very long) and commented some encouragements! I appreciated it very much! Thank you SO much!

All I can say is I wish everyone a Happy New Years! Remember to stick to your resolutions and have a safe New Years with your family & friends.

#3 Getting my P's
I still can't believe that I passed my driving test! I can drive now!! However, I don't have a car, so I only use my cousin's car... sometimes. I remember the instructor telling me that I had 9 mistakes... if I had one more mistake, I would've failed!
So that was the biggest fluke for me!

#4 Got over my depressed stage
Yay for getting over the time of your life! I used to be very depressed when I was in 9th grade and it went on for about 1.5 years! Towards the end of 10th grade, I made a good girl friend who I love love love love! I remember hanging around with her at the time.. we just sat on the same table, I was really alone and she looked at me one day and asked 'Why are you always so sad?'. I loved the fact that she cared, though I didn't know her really well! Appreciates it very muchies *tears

And this year hasn't been so great, in March, I've became upset and it pulled my mood down till after I graduated. I've been very happy these days that I don't have to face fewer people anymore. I love being happy now! I used to never know how people are always so happy, but I just became more and more optimistic and looked at life from another point of view! It's great!

#5 Found my friendship group!
I've met lots of people throughout my school life and like everyone, could draw a line to separate the goodies and the not-so-good. Finally found my group of friends who I could stick to this year! I'm so happy :P

I love my girlfriends cause they were always there for me and I never felt so much support in my life! Yay!! Everytime we're together, we don't gossip! We just joke around about each other, sing, dance, be weird & reminisce about school life! And shopping! :P

#6 Hanging out with my neighbour
So... I know when I say neighbour, you'll think of a typical Asian dad who lives next door LOL :( My neighbour is actually only one year older than me :P It's great because we talk about each others' lives without having to know who we're talking about. Which means.. no drama. blah blah blah And he's a good friend :] I'd say. Someone I can hang out and talk to everyday without having to walk too far LOL! Love love love!

We've been arguing quite alot these fewer weeks but it doesn't stop me from saying that he's one of the best thing which happened in my life :P Love yaaaaaa Davina :]~

#7 Kebubba!
It was unexpectedly when we started talking!! I'd always the one starting the conversation with him on MSN, and then we talked more and more and now it's normal! He finally starting to nudge me on MSN too whenever he talks. So I no longer have to be the one who always shows initiative! Yay!
Right now, we're talking on MSN via mic and he keeps making these goddam weird sounds which I can't even focus on writing a paragraph about him! Goddamit !!! Angry.
He's been a great friend too!! I love how he thinks like a girl.. Sometimes when he asks me something, I say 'No' and he actually knows that I mean 'Yes'.

Love you too Kebubba ^o^

#8 I quit drinking!
I used to drink drink drink [alcohol] at parties ALOT. However, after March, before I turn 17. I quit drinking!! I no longer thrash myself at parties anymore because.... !
Yay!!!

#9 COD addict!
I finally understood why boys love their Xbox or PS3 so much! I loveeeeee playing COD! I really want a XBOX sometime soon... :( Call of Duty is so much fun... sorry girls :P

#10 My acne has gone away completely!
Yay for no more breakouts! After my trip to the dermatologist and being on Roaccutane for 4 months now (?), I no longer have to suffer from cystic acne! I no longer break out from eating KFC or migoreng.. or staying up late :P
Finally a boost of confidence for me :P Yay! All I got to do now is get rid of these scars :P Yay!!!

That is all...
Please do a post of your highlights of 2010 too!
I'd love to know!! :]

Review: B.Liv by Cellnique (Drench Me & Submerge Me)

Hello world!
How have you guys all been?

Not too long ago... I was sent two products from B.LIV by Cellnique to review for my fellow followers which includes: Submerge Me & Drench Me.

So if you're not familiar with this company, let's do a little research!

Cellnique is a company based in Malaysia and Singapore, offering the products of the finest quality to treat several different cases of skin problems/types. Their range includes: acne, aging, congestion, discoloration, dehydration, open pores, sensitive and scarring.

B.LIV, originally named 'Cellnique Pro-Series' is one of their release lines targetting a total of 4 different ranges. This includes the: blackhead range, large pores range, blemish/acne range and a range for people with dry skin!

Each range has approximately 3~4 products to help improve your skin conditions and prices varies.

I think what interests me most is their '14-days money back guranteed' policy. Promising a refund if the products were not performing up to the customer's expectation within 14 days of purchase! They also offer exchanges for faulty products. i.e. if the pump is not working properly. Great policy! :)

Okay.. so first off!

-----------------------------------------
Drench Me
This ultra-silky weightless gel cleanser frees your face from impurities, while ensuring your skin’s much needed moisture never flees. Seaweed,Aloe Vera and Green Tea extracts – a robust combination in a hydrating cleanser that ensures your skin stays supple and moist. Together with antioxidant properties, Drench Me keeps aging signs at bay.

----------------------------------

Packaging
I really DO like the packaging of this bottle. The pump works really well! One full pump would give approximately be about 1/30 of the bottle, which is quite alot since you're only suppose to use 1-2 pea-sized drops at a time. No complains about the pump.

The bottle is NOT transparent, however is little see-through which allows you to check your usage... which is great! :)

For size comparison with my phone

On the back of the bottle, details the ingredients, directions, claims and the website.
Twisting off the cap of the bottle...

I absolutely LOVE the packaging design of the bottle! Am happy that after finishing this product, I could re-use the bottle for another product! :)

When I received it.. it came like this..

Great stuff! If I were to camp, sleepover or travel elsewhere.. I could definitely put this in my bag without having to worry it will be a mess. Thank you for the invention of the little clip, stopping from accidental pumps! :)

I'm not sure if this product had any box packaging, when I both products.. Drench Me didn't have a box packaging, so I highly doubt it.

Anyways, before you say I'm so easily amused.. hawhaw :D

Scent
I can definitely smell the Aloe Vera, however I don't know about any other particular substances which contributes to the scent. I'd say the scent is very pleasant and does not bother me at all. Smells yummy :3

Texture
This product is a cleansing gel, so no doubt, is in gel form. The gel has a brown shade to it, just a little brown, but that shouldn't matter - although, at times, I do wonder why it's brown LOL :|

Product
Now.. I use this together with 'Submerge Me' which is a moisturizing booster, so I'll try my best to tell you about ! :)

I use this in the morning when I wake up.. or shall I say.. at noon since I've been waking up at 2PM every day and I really do like it! The after-feel feels sooo good! My skin feels so soft and smooth!
After about 10 minutes of using this, my skin isn't as dry anymore, however is still a little bit flaky. However, do take into consideration that I don't exfoliate. I only exfoliate.. maybe once a month when I'm bothered :P

This moisturizing gel works pretty well and the product itself, does not have any downfalls. The only factor to consider is the price. US$25.00 for this bottle, I think is somewhat pricey.
Before putting my hands onto this product, I was using Bioglo's Skin Perfecting Cleanser and would say they are quite comparable. However, for Bioglo, my skin feels a little bit tighter after.. however that doesn't bother me.
They both remove my make-up, noting that my make-up routine consist of:
- Moisturizer
- Maybelline Mineral Liquid Foundation
- American Beauty Powder
- Australis Ready Set Go Finishing Powder

So for me.. after finishing this bottle of DrenchMe, I'd most likely go back to my Bioglo's Skin Perfecting Cleanser since it's only AUD$10.50 and works almost the same. Pin-pointing that it also consist of Aloe Vera, so it would be quite comparable to Bliv.

For mini-reviews on the website, you can visit the product page HERE >

---------------------------------------------------

This was also another product they sent me to review.

----------------------------------------------------
Submerge Me
Thirsty? With the new “SKIN BIO-MIMIC” technology, Submerge Me offers deep moisture penetration to serve intensive and instant relief to parched skin as well as brightens dull complexions and calms skin irritations. Take our advice, it’s best to take the plunge with Submerge Me’s faithful mate – the ever popular Leach Me.
sourced from HERE >

Product Type: Serum/Booster

Claims (on packaging): Unfortunately!! I've lost the box packaging :( So I don't have the details which were written on the box :(

Directions:
After using Drench Me (cleanser) or on a cleansed face, apply and smooth Submerge Me all over face, before applying moisturizer. Use twice daily.

Price: US$49.00

Capacity: 1.5 FL Oz/45ml

-------------------------------

Packaging
Like Drench Me, you can reuse this bottle after it's finished. I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE PACKAGING!! :D I'm such a suckup for packagings, but I really think that a professional company should be able to have their packaging carefully designed to reflect off some sort of reliabity.

A small dispensing hole, so neat!

Also has a small cap which makes it extra or perhaps, very handy for travelling.

The expiration date is located on the bottom side of the bottle and the bottle is not as transparent as Drench Me for you to actually see how much product you have used. Sucks?

Scent
There's nothing unpleasant about the scent, in my opinion. Doesn't smell like chemicals or anything.

Texture
When applied to face, it's not sticky or greasy. It's a lotion form like any other moisturizer.

Product
As mentioned, I use this WITH Drench Me, a cleansing gel, therefore both products combined give me the result stated below, not only this individual product.

Submerge Me is a moisturizing booster. At first, I didn't know that this was a serum-kinda-product. I thought it was a moisturizer, therefore I used it in my skincare routine, thinking that it was moisturizer. So for the first fewer days, I used this in my make-up routine as a moisturizer instead. I was actually supposed to use this product before moisturizing and after cleansing. So... yup.

I don't find that it held my makeup or primed it in any sense. Nor did it ruin my foundation coverage or lasting time. It never claimed to do so anyways.

After weeks of using this, my skin has got much better! From VERY flaky to little flaky now, ONCE AGAIN, taking into consideration that I don't exfoliate as often. I would say once every fortnight or before any special occasions.

When applied to face, in less than 1 minute, I would say 30seconds, the product would quickly be absorbed into my skin. I really don't like products that take its time to absorb into my skin. Just because when I rush out.. I don't have enough time to complete my foundation routine :(

But good thing is this does absorb quickly and also hydrates my skin. My skin is no longer very very flaky anymore. And also, after using this product for quite a while, my skin is more glowy now... does that make sense? It just looks little more healthy now, and more glowy, as if I highlighted my cheekbones :3 It's great!!

Before & After

OVERALL FOR BOTH PRODUCTS: I DO recommend both products! However, considering their price.. they are way too pricey. So if you are urging to look for a product to help your dry flaky skin (like mine) and money isn't a downfall, do check out their range. However, I am still a jobless student, so... And I really think there are fewer products comparable to Drench Me, however, not so much for Submerge Me. So if you've came to an end, do check out Submerge Me as a moisturizing booster.

These products were sent to me for reviews! And these are my most honest opinions of the two products. I have considered everything I could possibly think of, if you have anymore questions. Please do leave me a message in the comment box.

ALSO,

They are offering the my first 50 readers samples of their products!

NOTD: Zebra :3

Good afternoon babies!
The clock just stroke 2PM in Australia and I hope you Australians been having a good day! and Americans been having a good night! And Asian's having a good morning! :)

Hehehehe decided to paint my nails again last night.. I had yellow nails before and they were starting to chip and since I was watching The Invasion (starring Nicole Kidman), I had nothing to do... so zebra nails they are!

I thought they were really hard to do... I was so afraid to stroke down my black nail art pen :3 But I guess it turned out alright :) Besides my impatience of the gloss which kinda smudged the zebra patterns :(

I must say that.. having all 10 nails painted with zebra patterns is quite weird LOL :3 I might use grey next time for the patterns instead, to tone it down a little bit :3 Just so it's not too dark! :3

Anyways, please have a lovely day!
Remember to drink lots of water & eat healthy!

I miss you guys SO much LOL :3

Review: GEO Conventional Soft Lenses

Yay! I've finally got my camera back! It's the same model - Sony Cybershot W310 in classy black :)
I had to travel to a few stores to find a black model :$ I'm so picky.. I know :(
Anyhows, will be doing a review for you today on GEO's Conventional Lenses that I have purchased quite a while back for my upcoming formal :)

--------------------------------
GEO Conventional Soft Contact Lenses

Lightly color tinted GEO soft contact lenses provide eyes with soft and excellent
feeling of wearing by using new thin and elastic lens material.

Color (tint) available: Blue & Aqua
Diameter: 14.00mm
Base Curve Radius: 8.40~8.60mm
C.T: 0.04~0.13mm
Water Content: 38~42%
Power Range: -1.00D ~ -15.00D
sourced from here >

---------------------------

You can order these at very fewer websites, however, I got mine from http://www.cclens.com.au/ and it was $40 + $8 shipping.

$40 is ALOT for a pair of GEO Circle Lenses. I think it's WAY too overpriced. However, formal was around the corner and I really needed to find a distributor in Australia who has my prescriptions and the pair I wanted in stock... so yup.

Anyways... here is my experience with the Conventional Soft Lenses...

I found them to be quite uncomfortable when I just put them on.. very uncomfortable. Not to the point where it irritate my eyes, dries my eyes or make them super-duper itchy.
However, when I put them on, my eyes felt really tired and uncomfortable. Every time I blink, it seems that I really can feel the lenses... so it's not that great when you just placed them in.

After about 1 hour, the lenses became more comfortable for me to wear. It didn't make my eyes feel tired at all which was great :)

I don't wear these lenses everyday, just because I don't think I need to wear them everyday. I only wear them when my friends and I get together for a game of COD (yes! Cod!), when I'm driving or occasionally when I go out late at night... just because my vision is SO bad at night.

And to make things worse, I lost my pair of glasses Y_____Y

Yes Y____Y So when I first put them on, they are quite uncomfortable, however it gets better after an hour or so. I could wear this for the whole day without having them drying my eyes out (unless I sleep).

On my formal day, I wore them from AT LEAST 12PM till 4AM the next day without having the feeling uncomfortable after the first hour. Though, on the bus home, I fell asleep and when I woke up, my contacts disappeared and it took a few too many blinks for it to show itself :S But that's normal right?

These conventional lenses are like circle lenses with 14.00mm diameter, however, they are clear.. so yup :)

Available in 2 tints: Blue & Aqua and lasts up till 1 year after unsealing the bottle.

For your info, pinkyparadise do not carry these in their product range [unfortunately].

That is my experience with the 'Conventional' contacts!

Hope that helped you guys!

Yours deerest,

Review: Australis Ready.Set.Go Finishing Powder

This was my third product purchased from Australis if I remember correctly! I was actually introduced to this product from their Easter giveaway where I scored myself a small sample size and I've been using it for almost 2 years now!

The Ready.Set.Go Finishing powder is a loose mattifying powder which claims to control and keep all your oiliness at bay, shoo the dullness away and help your make-up to last longer. The awesome product is contained in a typical loose-powder packaging, but much slimmer in height and wider in diameter.

As for the powder, it comes in a white-coloured powder which applies to be truely translucent and doesn't leave a white cast on my skin. However, if you are of a darker skin tone, you'd have to be aware that this product could possibly make you look a tinge grey/white.

I actually have combination of minimal oily and dry skin, so this powder does the job for both my oily and dry zones. However, if you have oilier skin, I'm not exactly sure how this powder will work. According to this beauty blogger from Perth, the powder controls her T-zone for up to 4 hours.

As for its claim for helping my make-up last longer and shooing away any dullness, I honestly don't notice any difference. However, this powder is the finest milled powder you will ever find! It is so extremely fine, lightweight and will make your skin feel so so soft, I guarantee.

One last thing is its ingredient list, this product contains silica. I'm no make-up expert, but I've heard that products that contain silicia needs to be applied properly or it leave any skin-tone a strange white cast (similar to Make Up Forever HD Powder). All I actually do is blend this well into my skin and there's no problem.

Overall thoughts:

This powder is extremely fine and does a great job for my skin. Controls the oily, makes me skin feel extremely soft, is lightweight and affordable. However, darker skin tones might find this powder to leave a white cast or greyish tinge if applied too much (it also depends on your skin tone). Although you do get alot of product in a loose powder, I just wish that there could also be a pressed-powder version too since that'd be ideal for the oilier skin types and more convenient. Whichever floats your boat, but I personally love this powder for mattifying.

This product retails for $12.95 and can be purchased at Priceline, Big W, Target, K-Mart and Australis stockists.

Disclaimer: Product was purchased by me.

Quick tips for formal: Contacts or not?

Hi girlies! Rambles for ya today!

So some girlies' formal are coming up! And I already did posts on makeup and fashion-wise :$
These posts are expressed in my own opinion, esp the fashion-related LOL Cause I'm no where near having a sense of fashion, okay? :)

So... many of you will probably consider to put your hands on a pair of contacts for formal!

Ummm okay, where shall I start?

I'm not talking about clear contacts today, I'm just gonna give you a few perspectives about circle lenses and/or coloured contacts.

Most of you will probably think "I should wear blue contacts for formal since it'll make my eye colour so much more good looking" OR "I should invest on a pair of hazel contacts, how hot is that? Hazel eyes! Cmon!"

In my very honest opinion, I don't recommend circle lenses for formal, just because not ALL of them are comfortable for over 6 hours, and you don't want any eye irritations during formal or whatever! :{

However, if you have a pair of circle lenses which is comfortable all day, you must also consider if they look good in flash photography! Would it blend in with your natural eye color? Or would it make you look creepily weird.

For example:
Sourced from here

See how the blue doesn't completely blend with the eye colour and you can see the pupil?
Do consider if you like this effect in your photos or not!

That's just something for you to consider! I'm not against it, but I'm just saying! Don't bash me heheh x

For people who want extra hazel eyes! If you already have brown eyes, don't worry about it! Flash photography will make your eyes stand out more!
OR why don't you use eyes' cosmetics to help you enhance your eye color instead? :)

However, if you do plan to wear contacts, remember to bring your contact case with refilled solution! Just incase they get uncomfortable or so...

Make-up quick tips for formal/prom

Hello!! As I promised.. although a few days late! A post about make-up tips for formal/prom! :D

So first up!

Tell me, do you dress to impress? Or do you want to be the trend-setter?

DRESS-TO-IMPRESS?
Alright, let's talk to all 'dress-to-impress'ers!
By saying 'dress to impress', I mean your main focus is too looking outrageously gorgeous girly to impress all male audience! You want them to gossip after formal and say 'She was freaking beautiful'.
The downside for this is that, you gotta wear minimal make-up! And this may make you look naturally STUNNING to them, at the formal place, but however, won't be too photogenic. For example!
Eye make-up!
If you wear JUST an everyday look (minimal makeup = thin eyeliner, MLBB lipstick, false lashes, light coverage foundation), you'll look naturally beautiful.
However, in photos, your eyes will not stand out as much as other girls who'll be wearing smokey eyes.

TREND-SETTERS?
Trend-setters are to set the trends, hence the name! You can impress the girls (who understands) with a chic, punk or any Lady-Gaga style!
From red lipsticks to bold eyeliner!
The good thing about this is being awesomely unique in your own way!
A downswing to this is... the boys. They don't seem to understand any make-up trends or whatsoever. LMAO. As soon as they see you with eyeshadow, they immediately accuse you of being cake-faced #fml

Sucks that guys don't understand the beauty of make-up.
I guess it's the same how we don't understand their world of WOW of COD.

Here are tips by category!

FOUNDATION
  • Remember to match the foundation shade to your skin! You need this to be PERFECT!
  • Stay as natural as you possibly can - because guys *discuss* after formal about 'which girl has the cakiest face?' LOL... Hope I wasn't on the list :/
  • Dewy or matte finish, preferbly matte (IMO). Remember to blot blot blot blot if you have oily skin!
  • Remember to make sure it is SPF free for a matte-finish!
  • Take a picture WITH flash on before you leave the house and see if your skin is shine-free or not! Or recheck anything you need to fix up!
  • Bring your pressed powder, just in case you need to retouch! Better safe than sorry!

EYES
  • Eyeshadow primer? Base? Keep your eyeshadows lasting longer!
  • Blue dress = blue eyeshadow? If you're a trend setter, go for it! Whatever floats your boat!
  • I know girls like to make their eyes pop with shimmer in the inner corner, but please do avoid too much shimmer. You want attention on your eyes, not your tearducts!
  • Bring false lashes glue, just in case! It's small and handy!

NOSE
  • To make your nose appear 'taller', streak a highlighter onto your nose bridge & blend blend blend!
  • If you are doing your own makeup, remember to conceal redness around your nose!

LIPS
  • Moisturize your lips well!
  • A long-lasting lipcolour would help wonders!
  • Remember to bring your lipstick/gloss to touch up!
  • Conceal around your lips, to make it look more defined!
  • Remember that RED LIPS = MINIMAL EYEMAKEUP or NUDE LIPS = DRAMATIC EYES!

GENERAL
  • Recharge your camera and phone the night before!
  • Hollywood tape if you need!
  • Remember to bring touch ups products if necessary!
  • For girls who are wearing tight/fitting dresses, if you don't want to show your panty-lines... Grab a pair of old stockings, cut the legs off to thigh-length and wear them instead!
  • Make sure you moisturise your whole entire body! Your legs and arms, you don't want them to look all frosty and drying! :(
  • Don't forget to spray perfume, maybe 1-2 hours before you head to formal avenue, so it's not too heavy, nor too light.
  • If you're going to have an afterparty or walk in the city, it's advised that you want to bring a pair of flats, instead of those killer high heels! Yeah?
  • Manisure & Pedicure!
  • Remember to redo your brows AND moustache (whatever you call that) a few days before formal!
  • If you are doing your own makeup, it's advised that you do try on your makeup for a day. Just to see how many hours you need to retouch OR if there's anything that's possibly not right with your makeup :$
  • You could book professional makeup artists. For your info, I love makeup artists from photo studios! Although your makeup looks heavier at the shopping mall, at the formal venue, you will look perfectly fine because other girls will have their makeup done too. So it becomes normal. And the bonus is.. you will look more photogenic! Yay!

I think there's more to it... But I really forgot.
I'm really sleepy right now, just trying to finish this off.
Excuse me if I did any spelling mistakes or wasn't being so clear on a particular point.
Leave me a comment if you need :)
I will post more tips when I figure what I've missed out.
ASAP!

Goodnight!

BYS Matte Top Coat Review

I just bought this a few days ago for $5 at GLOSS! I haven't had a chance to try out OPI's matte polishes yet! So I bought this to see how it is!

Swatched

After opening the box packaging and all, I swatched it on my nail and decided that I really do not like it! I did a comparison picture for you to see!

The final finish isn't truely matte! It's more like.. halfway towards matte and halfway away from a regular polish finish.

All it does is minus the gloss by a little bit, and dulls the colour.

The only good thing about this is that it's cheap, but it isn't what I call a 'matte finish' really.
I personally wouldn't repurchase this product.

Circle Lens: GEO Tricolor (3-TONE) Green

As promised! GEO Circle Lenses in 3-tone Tricolor Green (CM-903)! Like Tricolor Blue, it does little eye-enlargment, so definitely NOT recommended for the dolly-look, but it looks quite natural without flash. However, I find it to look a little bit haunting IN flash photography..

I'm not really a big fan of green. It's harder to pull off than blue. In my honest opinion, I think Asian girls can pull of blue easier than green, unless you have full eye make-up on of course.

These photos were taken on my sister and she loves this pair of circle lens.

Without flash, the green looks more natural and soft, IMO.

Here is what they look like in full person hehe :)

Hope you enjoyed this post!

GEO Circle Lenses: Olive Brown/Honey Wing

Havent been blogging in ages! I'm actually not suppose to be blogging but I miss it too much.. so here I am lol! I promised to blog about Tricolor Green, but then I just picked up Olive Brown, so I might as well.

Here are pics for Olive Brown which is also known as Honey Wing... Quite popular for its eye enlargement & natural colour.

Comparison

The brown almost blends in with my natural eye color without flash. My eyes aren't extremely dark, so for those with darker brown eyes, you'll probably find this pair to be a little light.

Too natural right?
But it might suit some of you if you're looking for the natural look.
This series is ALMOST similar to the Angel series, however, instead of having a black rim, the rim of the Olive series are softer and are paired with the main colour.
So I find that this series is much more natural, however, still offers a dolly look.
I really recommend this brown if you're looking for natural-dolly looking eyes!

My favourite pair of brown circle lenses over Nudy Brown and Angel Brown.
Hopes this help!

MAC Studio Fix Fluid & Revlon Colorstay Foundation Color Chart

For all requests on helping you choose a suitable shade: I've found this chart from around the web, so I really have no idea and won't be able to help you pick out a shade from Revlon or MAC. Sorry! Good luck though!

Hi everyone!! :) Getting back to beauty blogging... I've heard great reviews about BOTH MAC SFF & Revlon Colorstay Foundation, but I have never tried using them yet :3

But MAC's foundations are sooooooooo expensive, so I only grabbed only the exfoliator. Their foundations were $48.00 each, so both products would be $AUD96.00 ... Therefore, I am gonna order from USA... Since the foundations are only $USD28.00.. But I need to find a US resident who will be able to help me out :3

ANYWAYS. So.. since I have an idea of what shade I am... I was struggling to find the equivalence in Revlon's Colorstay foundation. Took me a while to research this. And I hope this helps for you too! ... If you're facing the same problem.

I am by-no-means an expert. I don't understand much of these shading things! But if you have any question! Please leave in the comment and we can try to discuss with other beauty bloggers too! :)

EDIT: Please not that this color chart does NOT apply to Revlon's PhotoReady Foundation

A formspring question to suicide

I just crossed this facebook group which said 'This formspring question led to the suicide of a 15-year-old girl', so I decided to do some research instead of doing their stupid survey.

Thank god it came up, because I was so curious to know. This is the question on Formspring.
Your so hurt. people hate you. your such a sl*t hahahaaa. nactually lemme emphasize the HURT part. yea your body is monstrosity. no your face is hahaaaaa. ugly *** lips and your breath stanks like horse sh*t...your nose is humongous... and your EYES! theyre like to swirls of SH*T! lol you have elf ears too yenno. Go ahead and kill yourself because when you die you'll leave the world a better place.
And this was her reply -
I don't know who you are, but I will take your advice. I will kill myself because I am worthless like you said. I hope you will carry this burden on your shoulders for the rest of your life, knowing that you, YOU, killed somebody.
Please Rest in Peace Phoebe Prince (F)

Take a read of her story HERE >

Please take a look at her story! And remember to not support any forms of bullying! Supporters of bullying includes those gutless people who watches over, but does not act!
Please spread the words!

EDIT: It is reported that 15-year-old Phoebe Prince was constantly stalked and harassed from September until she killed herself in January. Students said Phoebe was called "Irish sl*t" and "whore" on Twitter, Craiglist, Facebook and Formspring. Besides this, physical bullying was also involved - books were routinely knocked outta her hands, items were flung at her, her face was scribbled out of photographs on school walls and threatening text messages were sent to her cell phone. On January 14th, while walking home, one of the bullies decided to drive by and threw a can of Red Bull at her - the last thing they could ever do to her, when she walked into her house and hung herself in a stairwell. Tho, after she commited suicide, her tormentors still posed vicious comments on the dead girl's Facebook memorial page.

How will these kids feel as they grow up with the fact that they inspired and motivated someone to end their life? I wonder..

R.I.P Phoebe
