Collective Haul: Lush, Markets, Big W, IHERB

Collective haul post as mentioned in my previous posts! :P I'm super sorry for the late postings lately.. I've been spending my time playing Candy Crush Saga after I wake up so I've been lagging everything else! >_< So badass, I know!

Anyways, my first shop stop is Big W. In my previous sales post, I've mentioned that Big W is having their once-in-a-while $3 off Face Of Australia and Australis sale again. This time is better as Maybelline is also having a $4 off sale in which I wouldn't really care for usually, but....

• Maybelline's Total Clean Express Eye & Lip Make-up Remover dropped down to only $2.72 from $6.72! Bargain! 
• Also picked up a pack of Face Of Australia wipes for $1.94 methinks.
• Totally forgot about Australis' Nail Polish Remover so I headed to another Big W the next day to grab the remaining two! These are the BEST nail polish remover and they were less than $2 each!

I've also collected a few items from the markets that's been lying around so I thought I'd include them too since there's not too much to seperate them in a different post! 

• Bath & Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Lotion (not the full size) -- I have the full-size of this at home and it smells DIVINE. The scent is unbelievably sexy.. I'm not even kidding. 
• OPI "Fuji Weejee Fawn" -- Can't remember how much I got this for, but since it was so cheap.. why not?!
• ORLY mini-sized "Grape Glitz" -- For blogging purposes again! I got this, a pair of booties wedges and some other miscellaneous stuff for $5.. So I pretty much got it for free since the seller usually sells his shoes for $5 per pair!
• Paper Scissors Rings -- Picked this up for $4 at Parramatta when I was prancin' around as I was shopping for gifts for a friend.
• Real  Technique Brushes from Iherb.com -- Can't remember how much these were, but my sister asked me to grab her a set of brushes, so I thought I'd pick some for myself too :P Carted the Powder Brush and their VERY well loved Blush brush that I've heard much from the blogosphere. 

Whilst I was at Parramatta, I also stopped by Lush!

• Ended up getting him the "I Love Juicy" shampoo for a friend which was $12.95 for the smallest size.
• Two steam tablets for the face for dry skin. I'm not sure how keen I am on these to be honest.. $2.50 per tablet. Has anyone tried them?
• The lovely Lush girl gave me a free soap sample! Yay!

I've also been shopping for shoes! I didn't think I'd include these shoes in this post, but since it's a 'collective' haul post, I thought I'd share!

Grabbed these two pairs from the markets for less than $5 each. If you live in Sydney, then you must hit up Paddy's markets in Flemington on Saturday morning for cheap stuff uleh!

As for this lovely pair of black and blue heels.. these were from Big W for a marked price of $20, but I scanned these for $15! Yay! I love the colour combo and the fact that it's not too tall. I can't wear high heels, I don't think so! Meep!

That's all for my collective haul! I'm off to play Candy Crush Saga now.............. Been stuck on level 147 for one whole day! I've never been stuck this long!!!! :(

What's Been Happening #4

Waaa! I apologise for the lack of posts for the past week! I haven't been motivated for blogging.. not feeling inspired! Not that there's anything wrong with me, I think I've been into cooking lately! I'm still learning, but happy to say that so far, I know how to prepare and cook beef lasagne and cheese, tomato and spam tarts!

Oh yummy!

Current nails: I'm currently trialling some Face Of Australia nail polishes, from their Molten Metallic collection! The shade I have on now is 'Bronze'.

Hot reads: I've only discovered Tablespoon.com last night, but their quick recipes do look amazingly tasty and fun to make! I can't wait to try these little cute corndog pops!

Most recent favourite product: I've rediscovered a little coconut-scented body lotion sample by Pure Fiji. Not sure how I could possibly forget how amazing it smells! Yummy vanilla scent reminds me of cupcakes!

New products: Real Technique brushes -- they are okay so far, haven't discovered anything amazing about them yet.

Most excited for: TAFE to be over! I'm STILL in holiday mode (and that was 7 weeks ago!...

Wanting to try: Nothing (thank Buddha, I finally get to save).

As always: Doing manicures for Mumma!

New in the mail: Played the match it game on Rimmel London's Facebook and won a nail polish in Hot Shot! Love little surprises!

Yeap! That's it! I can't wait to show you my market haul! I keep forgetting!!! :(

Recent Product Launches for Australia

I've always loved reading launches posts from other bloggers (*ahem* Kimmi from The Plastic Diaries with her recent post 'New Foundations of 2012'), so feeling inspired, I thought.. why not compile one for my readers (and myself hehe)??!?!!?!?


These products have just been launched recently, but some products I've included have been launched some time this year, but I am still genuinely excited about em! :P


Some new Maybelline products that has already hit the shelves are up to showcase..

Maybelline Dream Nude AirFoam Foundation is an air-fused foundation, so basically dispenses out in a mousse texture, almost like a hair mousse! Pretty cool right? I've read Samantha's review on the product and it seems like a product worth checking out!

Available in 10 shades, $22.95

Maybelline Dream Smooth Primer is a clear, gel-based formula which is described to blur imperfections and creates a flawless base. I wonder if it's somewhat similar to the L'Oreal Base Magique Primer [that I really like]?

Maybelline Dream Terra Sun Bronzing Powder.. Oooh! I'm actually looking for a bronzing powder! I've heard their Fit Me bronzer is very sheer, so I'm hoping this will be somewhat pigmented and will be available in both warm, cool and neutral undertones without the orangey hue!

Maybelline EyeStudio Colour Tattoo Eyeshadows! I'm pretty sure you've heard these enough from YouTubers and beauty bloggers from all around the world (mainly USA).. Well, they are now finally available in Australia (if you haven't caught up with the rave in the Aussie beauty blogging community)! Yippee! I'm not an eyeshadow user, but Bad To Bronze looks like a must-have!

Maybelline Falsies Flared Mascara has such a pretty purple packaging! It is described to have a unique patented Spoon Curler Brush (which allows lash lifting) with a volumising formula!

Maybelline Illegal Length Mascara promises visible lengthened lashes for a feminine and flirty look! Sounds like me!  

Available in 2 shades and a waterproof variant, $18.50

Maybelline Master Shape Brow Pencil allows you to create a statement brow with defined pencil tip which allows you full control for delicate feathering and on the other end, a brush end to even out everything if you're looking for a full and soft brow!

Maybelline SuperStay 14HR Lip Colour........ helloooooooooooo there! I'm [somewhat] a big lipstick gal and this lipstick just looks so promising! I really enjoy using their ColorSensational range, so it's super exciting to see what shades are available for their SuperStay 14HR range! Click here for swatches.

Max Factor 24 False Lash Effect, I'm aware that Max Factor has already came out with a False Lash Effect Mascara, but now they have one which promises perfect-looking lashes that lasts up to 24 hours! What do you think?

Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation is Bourjois' latest foundation, containing '3 colour concealing pigments for a perfect complexion'. Yeap! With yellow pigments to counteract dark circles, purple pigments to brighten any's dull complexion and green to conceal redness!

Bourjois Correcting Concealing Stick is another new product by Bourjois! It's described to be 'non-greasy with a cream-like texture and correcting pigments that will suit any complexion'.

Australis 10 Hour Wear Eye Pencils! My favourite Aussie brand, Australis has just released their smokin' hot 10 Hour Wear Eye Pencils just last month! I wasn't so impressed with their regular eye pencils, so I'm hoping these will do a much, much better job!

Face Of Australia Sheer Gloss Lip Crayons was also released in June! It's a product I've been constantly researching about! Apparently they are dubbed as dupes of Clinique's Chubby Sticks with their moisturising and non-sticky formula!

A few other new surprises...

Real Technique Brushes by Samantha Chapman are now available in Australia at Priceline! I actually felt them today and they are soooo soft!

To double your excitement, Essence Cosmetics is also now available at Priceline!! Yipeee for those who don't live near a Target store! Here's a list of stores that Essence AU provided on their Facebook page.
