NEW ON COUNTER (SEP/OCT 2016): Benefit, Rimmel London, Bourjois, Bioderma, Revlon, Clinique & More!

Yoyoyoyoyo, sup everybody. Yo girl back with the New On Counter post. Oiiiiiiiiii.

As usual, couldn't handle life last month, so I skipped September's launches.
Didn't think September would have so many launches that'll roll over to this month's post, but... Apparently not so!

So, expect this to be a looooooooooooooooOooooooong post. Yay!

❶ ELIZABETH ARDEN Beautiful Color Bold Illuminating Liquid Highlighter ($45)
A limited-edition liquid highlighter with a golden hue. Has a soft gel texture that'll blend seamlessly for a healthy glow.

❷ BENEFIT B.Right Firm It Up! Eye Serum ($65)
Described to be an eye serum that'll help with firming, tightening and brightening! Weightless formula, instant effect.

❸ BENEFIT Brow Kits ($59)
Brow kits designed to shape and define the brows. Available in Bigger & Bolder, Defined & Refined, Soft & Natural. Each kit contains different products! Listed below the following images:

❹ BIODERMA Sensibio AR BB Cream ($43.99)
Not sure how many shades they have in this range, but offers medium coverage. Covers and prevents redness. SPF30.

❺ BIODERMA Sensibio Milk ($32.99)
A no-rinse cleansing milk that will gently cleanse sensitive skin and remove make-up. Also softens and soothes the skin.

❻ BIODERMA Sensibio Toner ($32.99)
Formulated for sensitive skin. Soothes, tones, moisturises and refreshes the skin.

❼ BOURJOIS Volume Glamour Effet Push Up Black Serum Mascara ($23)
Delivers softer lashes with continued use. Glides on smoothly, defines the lashes without clumps, volumes and intensely black.

❽ BURT'S BEES !00% Natural Facial Cleansing Oil ($34.95)
Think I've seen this in stores! Really dig the packaging (but maybe that's because I love everything that's yellow, hehe). Burt's Bees describes this as a facial cleanser that gently dissolve dirt, impurities and make-up without stripping the skin's protective barriers. "100% natural", they say.

OPI Retro Summer Nail Collection ($19.95/6 shades)
A new name collection for the upcoming Spring/Summer!

❿ PONi COSMETICS Brow Kit ($69)
As mentioned in my previous post, PONi, is an Australia brand. Available at selected salons, I believe. Anyways, this brow kit contains a brow powder, setting wax, their POP! 3-in-1 Brow Highlighter/Concealer, dual-ended Pro Brow Brush and a mirror. $69 is a hefty price-tag though, eep.

⓫ REVLON Colorstay Not Just Nudes Shadow Palette ($29.95/2 palettes)
Another day, another nude palette on the market. Who's still surprised? lmao. Available in Passionate Nudes and Romantic Nudes, each palette features 10 neutral shades in both matte and pearl finishes. Long-lasting, has a silky texture, blends easily, crease and smudge proof.

⓬ REVLON Nail Enamels ($13.95/8 shades)
BAM! Eight new shades to their nail collection. The usual claims, meh.

⓭ RIMMEL LONDON Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate ($13.95/6 shades)
Kate Moss' lippy collection, featuring her favourite reds and nudes. Lasts up to 8 colours, creamy, smooth and comfortable to wear. #kindakeen

⓮ RIMMEL LONDON Super Gel Nail Polish by Kate ($9.95/3 shades)
Aaaaaaaaaand, a nail collection inspired by Kate's favourite reds and nudes.

⓯ BOBBI BROWN Long-Wear Liquid Liner ($46/5 shades)
A liquid eyeliner with a wearable chrome finish. Contains a blend of pearls, so expect a shimmery finish! Sweat and humidity-resistant.

⓰ CLINIQUE Superbalanced Silk Makeup SPF15 ($50)
Not sure how many shades, but this is listed as a "skin-balancing" foundation. Supposedly suitable for all three skin types: dry, combination and oily. Provides medium-buildable coverage.

⓱ NATIO Natural Shades Eyeshadow Palette ($19.95/2 palettes)
Like I said, another day, another nude palette, lmao. Second neutral palette for this month! Available in 'Rosebud' (plums, pinks and copper hues) and 'Golden' (nudes, coppers, mocha tones).

A total for 19 products this month, nice. That's excluding quite a few other products that I've skipped too! I think it would've totaled to around 40 if I included every single cosmetic product amongst all brands that I usually feature! Skipped so many Bobbi Brown and Clinique products, sorryyyy.

However, besides all them... Thought I'd share with you this candle collection by Natio (on counter 17 October):

Poached Pear & Cinnamon, Quince & Rhubarb Scented Candles ($26.95)

Rose & Mandarin, Jasmine & Vanilla, Coconut & Lemongrass Scented Candles ($26.95)

Once upon a time, I LOVED collecting candles. Used to light them up a lot, but quickly grew out of it. Should get back into it again. Look how cute those jarred candles areeeeee.

ALSO, on my wishlist, this limited edition Halloween scent by Glasshouse Fragrances..

Limited Edition Pumpkin Pie Triple Scented Candle ($42.95)

Been keen to try their candles (heard they are amazing!), but always so poor.... lmao. Meep.

What ya lookin' at, good lookin'?

Let me know! It's 1.30am as I'm publishing this... Zzzzzzzz, goodnight fellas. Also, gonna be hosting a giveaway on my Instagram soon, in a few days! Would love you for to join!

As for now...

CHRISTMAS GIFTS 2015: Beauty Edition

CHRISTMAS, was quite festive for me this year!

My family and friends have never really celebrated Christmas, or not the gifting tradition of Christmas at least. But this year, everyone started gifting and all.

Makes me feel bad, because this year, I didn't put in enough effort in comparison to them. You know, too broke to really afford anything, lol. Sorry frenz.

But wanted to post about the beauty products I've received this year! *happy dance*

MARC JACOBS Dream Daisy Forever, was from my sister. This year, I started getting into fragrances! Been lovin' Marc Jacobs, for not only their packaging, but scents tooo~ I really really loved Daisy that I received for my birthday this year, so this was perfff!

THE BALM The Manizer Sisters. Lemme get this straight -- I LOVE my Mary-Lou Manizer. Since seeing this little set, I've always wanted it. It's smaller (probably half the full-size), but it's perfect. Considering that a little goes a long way, this will probably last me until I get married and have kids (lol, which is a long-ass way to go, according to mama).

These three CHARLOTTE TILBURY lipsticks were from my boyfriend (thanks boi!). They're from the Matte Revolution collection. Although they retail for $48 a pop, we thrifted them from the markets for only $15 each! Yay!!

Birkin Brown, Bond Girl, Walk Of Shame

I know these shades look real ugly as a bullet, and in my photo (lighting error) but I promise they don't look that bad! Showcase them to ya soon!

TONY MOLY Shocking Lip in 01, was from a good friend. I'm pretty sure this is the lipstick that she almost always wear. The one that I see on her, which NEVER ever rubs off. Lasts damn well. Quite excited to see what this one's about.

Same friend also purchased for me, LUSH Peeping Santa Bubble Bar! Smells amaaaaazing!

(poor disfigured Santa)

Aaaaaand my highschool girlfriends, got me so many things. Amongst them were OPI's Romancing the Frog Duo Pack and MY BEAUTY DIARY face masks (not pictured).

My boyfriend's sister also got me a lil gifty!! (ノ*゜▽゜*) She got me my first BOBBI BROWN products: Luxe Lip Color in Atomic Orange, and Lip Pencil in Tangerine.

These two are PERFECT for me. Atomic Orange is a lovely addition to the lipstick-fam since I don't own any true-orange lippies (that lasts, at least). And Tangerine is exactly what I'd wear as a peachy-coral, the colour is right up my alley!

LAST GIFT!

...was from a friend, I haven't seen in yonks. And all I can say is... she knows me. Quite well (lol).

This Nail Care Bag, a minty lip balm, RIMMEL LONDON Provocalips in I'll Call You swatches of whole collection here >, and LUSH Ultrabalm.

Love everything minty, yellow or grey! Can't wait to transform that minty pouch to a coin-pouch or make-up pouch! ヽ(゚∇゚)ノ

#Eggcited

That's a wrap of my Xmas presents~

What did everyone receive for Christmas?

Whether it's beauty or not, let me know!

THE VLOG VERSION:

Thanks for checking,

THRIFTIN': It's a 3 for $10 deal -- give me them all!

Wanted to share with you a tad more about my overseas trip!
(*/∇\*)

I spent a month in Vietnam and Taiwan from mid-June to mid-July if you didn't know! Vietnam, not so much, but Taiwan, is pretty much the country of beauty after (or on-par with) Korea and Japan.

You know it's a boss country when they even have products such as hand masks! Hehe.

Surprisingly, I did not buy one beauty-related item for myself overseas. I bought a few handful of Model 21 false eyelashes (one does not simply return from Vietnam without Model 21 lashes) and two bunches of eyebrow pencils -- but they were all for my sister!

I seriously thought the hoarder in me died. But... nope nope nope!

Sunday proved me wrong. I bought...

2 Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquers in Fire Opal, Garnet

The top of these lip lacquers are so pretty! Love the packaging. However, I was surprised upon opening em. They have those brush applicators... that I dislike! Eeeep.

Adding to that, I also purchased..

Rimmel London Oh My Gloss! in Rebel Red

Australis Velourlips Lip Creams in , Buda-Pash, Bar-tha-Lona, Shang-Hi

Avon Ultra Color Lipstick in Daffodil Petal

Those were all sealed and brand new, and priced "3 for $10". I grabbed 7, so the lady generously gave me the one extra for free! (read: I bargained with her until she gave me one for free haha jk).

I've only tried on Australis Velourlips in Shang-Hi so far.

Australis Velourlips in Shang-Hi

The deeper shades of the Velourlips are so much more forgiving than the lighter, brighter shades methinks. I've tried Rio-D, a bright almost-neon coral, from the same range and although it's beautiful, it's ridiculously drying and patchy!

Minus the rant, I'm looking forward to try the pretty Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquers!

Has anyone tried the Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquers?!
What are they like?

Let me know if you have, and let me know how you've been!

On a side note, wanted to share with you guys this incident when we were playing Uno... My friend... (smh).

Who does that, right?!?! Hahahaha...

If you have Snapchat, please feel free to add me! ^_^ @the_beautifool

See ya in ma next post! x

Saturday/Sunday Steals Vol.32: OPI, essie, MUA, NYX, Bourjois, EA, Revlon

HOLY GOLLY~

It's been such a LONG time since I've posted about my hauls, that I didn't even remember what I used to call them... lol.

My last post about it was back in 2013.. holy shit.

Urgh, glad to be back on track now. I've been cutting down on haulage at the markets, so you can expect slowly build-ups of these posts, and no more weekly haul!

So these products, I've purchased them from Sunday markets, Trash & Treasure.

I've purchased 3 OPI polishes and 2 Nicole by OPI polishes~ Taupeless Beach, I'm sure is a fake. I didn't realise at the time, but I've checked its batch code online for production date, and there are no results. Bummer!

The middle is called Manicurist of Seville, and the last one is authentic, but the seller must've peeled off the bottom label, so no idea what the name is.

The two NICOLE BY OPIs are Brrr Brrr Burgundy and For Gold Times Sake. These were only $2 each.

I also stumbled across a young lady's stall, who were selling cosmetics for only $2 each. I picked up a lipstick by Sleek, called Loved Up and a Revlon lippy in Grape. Way too dark for me. Looking at a shade like this makes me miss my dark-lippy-lover friend, Alice, a lot!

Loved Up & Grape

Honey Nectar & Chaos

I also chose two NYX Jumbo Lip Pencils. I've never liked any NYX products I've used (ahem, Round Lipsticks), but I thought I'd give these a go! The shades are called Honey Nectar and Chaos. I've worn Chaos twice and I'm loving how it wears so far!

AND three blushers, from different sellers: Elizabeth Arden in Tea Rose ($4), MUA in Shade 5 ($2) and Bourjois in Rose ($2).

Lastly, two essie nail polishes in Secret Story ($2) and Mod Squad ($5).

That's it!

Altogether, a $35 haul. Not bad, not bad. Minus that fake OPI~
