Week in Photos: Priceline Pout Day, Beauty Editor's Workshop, Sister's Formal, Moon Festival, DIY

Hellooooooooooooooooooooo!

I haven't updated about myself in yonks! Mainly because my life [everyday] is just so exciting (not at all) that  I don't have anything to really blog about... LOL. But!

This past week has been super exciting and fun for me so I just really want to share with you! Here's photos and short captions to show you!

Wednesday 19th September -- I was kindly invited to Nutrimetics Colour Wardrobe event! I only get invited to beauty events [probably] 4 times a year so I was super excited for this! Even skipped TAFE for it..

The event was fun and helpful where we learnt about our undertones and discussed which colours suited our complexion more -- in terms of fashion and make-up!

Later in the day, got back in the area from Sydney CBD and had me some Meet Fresh (dessert) at Cabramatta! First time trying it and it was alright! Had a great catch-up session with Alice form Arsyparsy!

Thursday 20th September -- Skipped TAFE again for Priceline's Pout Day at Martin Pl (Sydney) for 30 Days of Fashion & Beauty. I wasn't able to attend any events earlier so I HAD to skip TAFE for this!

Went with Tezza @ Myteeefine.com Had a mini make-up tutorial session (10 minutes) whilst participating in the Guinness World Record attempt and we made it baby! World's largest make-up class of 261 participants! Yeap. You heard me!

Also met Amy @ Beauty In A Bottle!

Also walked the pink carpet at the event. Yeap! Hittin' the red carpets in no time guys!! ^_^

After the event, I quickly left to get back in time to do my sister's and her friend's make-up for formal! Have a look at her awesome hair do for prom/formal!

Braids and flowers! Pretty amazing for $55 (at Elegant Beauty in Cabramatta)

I did make-up for the girl on the left and my sister (on the left!). What do you think guys? ^_^

Friday 21st September -- Priceline's Beauty Editior's Workshop!

Attended this event with Tezza too! It was located at Martin Pl, in a bright pink portable building! Really impossible to miss!

Got our hair done! Pretty curls!!!

Sunday 23rd September -- Moon Festival (Tet Trung Thu) at Cabramatta! I actually only went for the yummy spicy fishballs! The same stall also had deep fried squids and holy cow, they were nice!

Monday 24th September -- DIY!

YEAP GUYS! I've been SO desperate for a new nail storage/organiser. I hate seeing my nail polishes stored in boxes. I FINALLY found all the correct materials to put this DIY nail polish rack and shelf together!

A quick google will get you to many DIY videos and posts. I will update soon for any readers who are around my area (Liverpool, Sydney), on where to purchase the materials! :')

What's Been Happening #4

Waaa! I apologise for the lack of posts for the past week! I haven't been motivated for blogging.. not feeling inspired! Not that there's anything wrong with me, I think I've been into cooking lately! I'm still learning, but happy to say that so far, I know how to prepare and cook beef lasagne and cheese, tomato and spam tarts!

Oh yummy!

Current nails: I'm currently trialling some Face Of Australia nail polishes, from their Molten Metallic collection! The shade I have on now is 'Bronze'.

Hot reads: I've only discovered Tablespoon.com last night, but their quick recipes do look amazingly tasty and fun to make! I can't wait to try these little cute corndog pops!

Most recent favourite product: I've rediscovered a little coconut-scented body lotion sample by Pure Fiji. Not sure how I could possibly forget how amazing it smells! Yummy vanilla scent reminds me of cupcakes!

New products: Real Technique brushes -- they are okay so far, haven't discovered anything amazing about them yet.

Most excited for: TAFE to be over! I'm STILL in holiday mode (and that was 7 weeks ago!...

Wanting to try: Nothing (thank Buddha, I finally get to save).

As always: Doing manicures for Mumma!

New in the mail: Played the match it game on Rimmel London's Facebook and won a nail polish in Hot Shot! Love little surprises!

Yeap! That's it! I can't wait to show you my market haul! I keep forgetting!!! :(

What's Been Happening #3

Heya! I'm late for this week's What's Been Happening post, but I swear I wasn't being lazy!

I was thinking of switching to post these fortnightly since I'm a pretty boring beauty person, so there's actually not much to feature within these posts... What do you think?

Current nails: Minnie Mouse inspired nails -- red with white polkadots! I attended a dress up party as Minnie Mouse, so yeap!

New product: I've tried out Vixen Body Art's Eyeliner Stickers!!! I was actually so excited when I received these eyeliner strips can ya believe? Pretty whack!

Most excited for: The day when I will completely recover from this sore throat. This is what happens when you eat too much Sweet Sesame Chicken from KFC.. but holy golly, they're so tasty!

Wanting to try: Essence products. They're actually 20% off at Priceline at the moment!

As always: Teaching Mum new English words.

New in the mail: Face Of Australia's PR kindly sent me some nail polishes that I've requested to try. It's from an older collection, Molten Metallics, but the shades are SO me! I honestly cannot wait! They are still available on FashionAddict, just in case you're wondering!

I'm excited for more mail! I'm not sure what I'm waiting on since I haven't been doing any online shopping, but something has gotta come! LOL..... -_-"

What's Been Happening #2

Happy Sunday erryonez!

I dropped down to the markets today and picked up a few more beauty products! So happy with my purchases. You may already seen tweets of them if you've followed me on Instagram (the_beautifool)!

Current nails: Rimmel London's I Love Lasting Finish Nail Colour in Lively Lilac which actually isn't that lively.. I think it's a bit muted, but still pretty! 

Hot reads: Tezza's Nail Art 101 is a must read if you're starting off with nail art! I did try after reading, but failed.. miserably. Anyhows, you must read this post from Uncyclopedia on 'How To: Spot A Virgin'... It actually made me LOL.

The best way to check if a girl is still a virgin is to inspect her hymen. Unfortunately, many girls will become offended if you attempt to do this.

New product: L'Oreal Nude Magique BB Cream is surprisingly good [for now] and actually offers visible coverage! 

Most excited for: More launch posts and stuff that'll be coming in the mail, hopefully soon!

Wanting to try: Maybelline's SuperStay 14HR Lipsticks... *frowns* Click here for swatches.

What's Been Happening #1

Happy Sunday everyone!

Hope you all had a safe and wonderful weekend! Monday tomorrow... I know we are all excited to go back to work.............. not really.

Anyhows, I've came to realised that I am SO behind on monthly favourite posts! The last time I've whipped up anything favourite-related was an overview of 2011 favourites, can ya believe? Since then.. no monthly favourite posts at all. 

Holy whack-a-moly. And on a similar note, it's already July in a blink of an eye! Time is going by sooooooo fast!

Back on track, to make up for the favourite posts, I think I'll do mini catch-up posts (which will cover favourites!) instead since I don't even use THAT much make-up to whip up monthly favourite posts, ya know? I really wonder how the beauty YouTubers can do monthly favourite videos.. cray cray.

Most recent favourite product: Savvy by DB's eyeliner in Brilliant Bronze is just amazing to wear as a smoked-out eyeliner! 

New product: I've recently tried L'Oreal Paris' Lumi Magique Foundation and its medium coverage somewhat shocked me! Thought it'd be more full..

Most excited for: A series of collab posts that I've planned out with a few beauty blogger friends: Alice, Amanda and Tezza! Hope our readers will like it!

Wanting to try: Real Technique brushes which are now available at Priceline, but I'm planning on a make-up ban soon!

Dream Analysis/Dictionaries

Hi y'all! A bit non-beauty related today, but I just wanted to share with you what I've been up to. A bit personal, but I think the topic itself is pretty interesting since I'd like to hear about what you do too!

So I've been having heaps of weird (very weird!) dreams lately and to briefly share one with ya..

Just a few nights ago, I had a dream of me protecting a crowd of people inside an old village house. We were surrounded by some of my highschool friends (loool!). I managed to use a bamboo stick and killed him...... <insert very gore-y and disgusting details of how I killed him>.

..and of course, sometimes a few dreams here and there of Mr. Channing Tatum and Big Bang. Shhh.. Moving on..

What I actually do when I wake up is.. straight away jot down the keywords on my phone's notepad, so I don't forget.

I feel like a freaking psycho/serial killer with a notepad that says all these strange words!

After that, whenever I have time during the day, I jump onto DreamMoods which is a great website for learning more about common types of dreams. What's cool is that they also have a Dream Dictionary which helps to gather together the meaning of your dream(s). Heh. So I'd just go through all the keywords and gather together all the information and analysis provided.. Here we are!

I can't say I'm a big believer in these dream analysis, but holy cow they're interesting! Also very entertaining and sometimes, reminds and hints me to evaluate what's happening right now in my own life!

Does anyone else analyse their dreams? :P
