Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Since my previous round up post of micellar waters received much likes, I thought I'd share with you my thoughts on Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water ($11.99/400mL) in this post!

I know Bioderma was the trend-setter for micellar waters, but unfortunately, its price tag is way out of my budget range... Reason why I have settled for Garnier's version.

Neat n' nifty dispensing hole

$11.99 for a bottle of 400mL is really not a bad buy! Even if you're a bit of a heavy-handed user, just go ahead, and use it like water (pun alert)! Sometimes, you'd even catch these on a 20%~30% off sale at Priceline, so it runs to be even cheaper.

When micellar waters first hit the market, I was like... NOOOOOOOO WAY. How can something of a water-like consistency remove make-up so well?

Well, it does remove make-up! And it removes it pretty well! Trialed and tested by yours truly.

The first time I used it, I actually couldn't understand what the hype was about. But then it slowly grew on me. Before this, I was using a foaming make-up remover, or an oil-based one..? I forgot which, but either way, those two -- one [sometimes] left my skin a tad dry, and the other always left my skin oily. This is perfect.

Cleanses thoroughly and leaves my skin feeling balanced and refreshed. There'd still be little make-up residue left, but it doesn't bother me too much as I always cleanse after. With the water-like consistency, I also [really] like that it doesn't drag my skin!

As for eye make-up, although it doesn't sting/irritate, it doesn't seem to remove my mascara that well (I use Benefit They're Real & Australis Lash Length Extensions). I also prefer oil-based make-up removers (with a Q-tip) for the eye area, much more gentle.

LASTLY, because it's a water-like consistency, it can also be super travel-friendly if you transfer some into a small bottle. Easy and mess-free. Put it in a bottle with a spritz, then you'll have a SPRAY-ON MAKE-UP REMOVER. WOOHOOOOOO.

Definitely a repurchase for me, this one. Give it a go if you haven't tried it yet!

LUSH Catastrophe Cosmetic

*I'm currently in China, but wishing you all a safe and wonderful festive season with your loved ones!

Catastrophe Cosmetic ($16.95) is my second ever face mask by LUSH. My first face mask was Love Lettuce, which is an amazing face mask too!

I'm not really one to reach out to try differently things. They say "Taurus hates changes" and that's super-duper true with me! I'm the kind of person that prefers no changes so once I like something, there's no need for changes.

This tub was purchased by one of my girlfriends, for our Melbourne trip from a few weeks ago! It contains blueberries, and is supposed to soothe and gentle cleanse.

The mask was kinda hard to apply, because the texture was so hard and thick (◑.◑?). Eh, I'm not sure if that's the best way to describe it, but my tip for applying this would be to add a few droplets of water to help with spreading. It'll dry out to be the same, so don't you worry!

Rinsing this off can be a pain in the butt, or.. it was so for me. Some bits just didn't want to come off and would "dry" on your chin. AH! YOU KNOW... when you get toothpaste stuck, and it'll dry out chalky on the skin? Yeah?

Yeap, it's exactly like that!

I'd have to go over with a cotton pad with water to wipe it off. Worth it though, for the baby soft skin. You can really feel the differences in texture after the mask.

Skin just feels sooooooooo soft and smooth, a fly may just be able to slip off if it landed on ma cheeks. (•‿•)

Have you tried any LUSH masks?
Which is your favourite pick?

The Jojoba Company Gentle Cleansing Balm

Kay. I've been in bed snoozing for the past two days because it's been SO wet and gloomy in Sydney here.. Don't mind me, ya?

I've been meaning to post about The Jojoba Company's Gentle Cleansing Balm ($29.95/100mL) for the looooongest time. The thing with skincare products are that... I'm always thinking.. "I'm going to post about this tomorrow" and that thing goes on for.. um.. a few weeks. Next thing you know you... BAM! Cleanser finished and no product left for me to photograph.

What I've just told you was what exactly happened to my beloved Love Lettuce Face Mask by LUSH. Sad times, really!

Anyways, I've figured that I'd stop using the cleanser until I get the review over and done with... so my skin right now is disastrously dry and tight. LOL.

Horrible lighting, I know... What can I do with these grey clouds? :(

The Jojoba Company's Gentle Cleansing Balm (97% natural, they say!) claims to "leave the skin feeling cool, calm and hydrated" whilst "dissolving make-up and impurities of the skin's surface". Comes in a nifty pump-bottle which locks and also has a cap -- perfect for travelling.

I've been using this cleanser for about... a month, but definitely not everyday and also NOT twice a day (as suggested). I use one pump everytime I cleanse and I'd have to say that it's a very quick cleanser to finish, even if I'm using it once a day. After about 1.5 weeks of using this daily, the bottle is almost half finished :(

The formula, however, is VERY gentle and doesn't lather up into foam. It's actually hydrates, soothes and leaves my skin feeling supple! Back when it was less "wintery", my skin loved this! I could just use this cleanser and say "PFFT" to moisturisers like a boss. However, as we're almost a month into the winter season, I had to quickly cling to my moisturiser for the extra hydration.

Overall, the cleanser does pretty much what it claims to do -- soothe, hydrate, calm (I'm not totally sure what they mean by "cool" though.. Eeep)... Besides the "make-up removing" part. This cleanser is WAY too gentle to remove a single bit of make-up, so I have no idea why The Jojoba Company decided to chuck in that claim. It scales the product down, methinks.

Nevertheless, it's a lovely cleanser for all skin types. Doesn't leave the skin feeling tight because it's ULTRA-gentle. A cleanser can never be TOO gentle right?!?!?!?

Have you tried ANY products from The Jojoba Company?

YAY!! Now I can actually start finishing up this cleanser! I can't wait to show you guys waht I've managed to finish over the past fewer months.. My bag for "empty products" have been sitting in the corner for yonks!

Why not go with WOTNOT?

Not too long ago, I received an email from WOTNOT's representative informing me about their ABOUTFACE Campaign which allows you to send in your empty pack of face wipes in exchange for a full-sized pack of WOTNOT wipes...

Well.. I'm extremely late on this post, so the campaign has officially ended ... Meep! I'm extremely sorry! I wished I posted about this earlier, because you guys would've scored yourself an AWESOME pack of make-up wipes!

Seriously.. These wipes are one of the best wipes I've ever used!

What makes them different from the rest? Well, here's a list:
  1. The material -- Oh, the very first time I used these, the material of the face wipes stood out the most to me! It's much softer than other wipes I've used and feels like it's very... Err.. Wooly? Cotton-y? It just feels very different (and I love it)!
  2. Very moist -- Who doesn't like wet wipes, right?
  3. The after-feel -- After removing my make-up, the wipes leaves this oily film. I wasn't comfortable with it at first, but hey... I'm here now and I actually really like the idea of this since it leaves my skin feel moisturised instead of feeling tight and dry. I think the oily-film it leaves behind may be certified organic aloe vera and/or sweet almond oil and/or rosehip oil and/or jojoba oil as described on their website. Not too sure, but whatever you are oil.. I like you!
  4. Safe and gentle on the skin and environment!

Proud to say, WOTNOT's facial wipes are also:
  • Not tested on animals
  • Australian owned
  • 100% natural and biodegradable fibre
  • Free from alcohol and artificial fragrances
  • Free from parabens and ptrochemicals
  • Ideal for women with sensitive skin
  • Removes all make-up including waterproof mascara

These wipes are a tad more costly at $7.95 per pack of 25 wipes which I usually don't justify for. However, I really like these wipes, so they're totally worth it!! I wished they'd branch out to national stores (such as Priceline or Big W) though, for easier access.

Otherwise, if you can find them near you, I highly recommend them!

What do you think of WOTNOT's facial wipes?
Share with me your HG/favourite facial wipes too!

Biore Refresh Daily Deep Pore Cleansing Wipes Review

Heya, this is probably unbelievable, but ever since I started using make-up, make-up wipes are probably my least favourite to use. Sure they're convenient, but they're just so pricey in the long run.

So I was sitting home one day when a big PR box arrived at my doorstep.. here are some shocking fun facts upon receiving and unboxing the box..
  • The young postman who delivered this box of Biore goodies was shockingly cute! HAH! Hi.
  • The box was so shockingly big and heavy........... thought it may have been a bomb. I kidz. Na!

Anyways, back to what's relevant!

I don't think I've ever came across make-up wipes which are as moist as these.. which was a hit of surprise. These wipes can remove all my make-up without irritating my eyes and skin. Sometimes make-up wipes can sting my skin and eyes a tad, but these wipes didn't so I'm super glad (whew that rhymed!).

However, I didn't notice any difference in my skin's texture and luminosity, as the wipes are described to be 'textured', helping to exfoliate whilst cleansing the skin.

Adding to that, these Deep Pore Cleansing Wipes had a very different scent to the previous Biore wipes that I used, the ones in the green packaging.. The scent is bearable, but I do prefer no scents.

To conclude, I also want to share a shocking fun fact... Biore Deep Pore Cleansing Wipes are $8.99 (25pk) which is double the retail price in comparison to many other brands... Pricey!

Will snag a few packets when I spy an awesome sale, because I felt really comfortable with them. So comfortable that I could head off to bed straight after.. something that I'd never consider doing.

I know there are many Biore lovers out there! Share with me your favourite pick!

Biore Refresh Daily Deep Pore Cleansing Wipes retails for $8.99 (25pk) at Priceline, Target, Big W, Coles, Woolworths and selected pharmacies.

Australis 3-in-1 Make-Up Remover Wipes Review

Hey gals! So this review is super, super late! I've actually finished two packs of 25 wipes and a review still isn't up for your reading pleasure.. meep.

I've purchased three packets of Australis 3-in-1 Make-Up Remover Wipes a while ago when Big W had their $3 OFF sale which got these wipes down only to $2 each pack. Cheapo!

And as an Australis fan, I could not be any happier with $2/pack, expecting them to be of impressive quality, although I saw some very disappointing reviews at BeautyHeaven when I was prancin' around the web.

Australis claims that these wipes 'cleanses, tones and moisturises whilst gently removing all traces of make-up'. These wipes are soap, alocohol and fragrance free and is suitable for all skin types.

Sounds awesome!

However, I'm very, super, extremely (that doesn't make sense, but I don't care because that is how I feel) disappointed with these wipes. The first fewer wipes are actually okay, they're somewhat moist, but still dry in comparison to the many other wipes I've used from other brands.

After the first fewer, it just becomes drier and drier, and then it's like there's no more make-up remover anymore that it's just tissue. So then it doesn't remove make-up anymore, let alone toning and moisturising..

Meep. Super sad!

I'd like to think that I've picked up some bad ones, but I purchased three, and they're all the same! Somewhat moist the first fewer wipes and then there's just tissue.

Sad to say, but I'm not even over-exaggerating.... *sad face at Australis*

I'd still be your little happy chappy make-up fan though!

Have you tried Australis' Make-Up Wipes?
Whaddo you think?

Australis 3-in-1 Make-Up Remover Wipes retails for $4.95 per pack of 25 wipes, available at Priceline, Big W, Target, Kmart and selected pharmacies nationally.

Johnson's Moisturising Day Cream Review

Hi everyone! After so many nail polish reviews, here's something different! A moisturiser review! Yippee!

I've been using the Johnson's Moisturising Day Cream since end of April, so that's a really long trial time for me to finally put up a review post! Yikes!

Truthfully, the main reason was because I couldn't find anything I didn't like about it! So I kept trialling and trialling, and finally came to a conclusion of overall thoughts about the product.

Eager to know? Read on!

Jonhson's claims that their Moisturising Day Cream will provide your skin the moisture it needs with quick absorption, leaving it soft and supple without feeling too heavy.

Johnson's Moisturising Day Cream is a jar-packaged cream moisturiser with a quality ensurance seal. I think the jar is actually pretty cute, although it's not very sanitary. :S

Anyways, this cream moisturiser moisturises really well and is somewhat soothing. Nothing special with its absorption times -- pretty average rate of time frame.

Although it's creamy, it feels quite light-weight which was pretty surprising for me! Adding to it, no matter how much more moisturiser I layer on, the weight will still remain just as light-weight which will come handy for those Winter days when my skin needs ALOT of moisturiser to do!

My favourite way to store this is on its side and in the fridge! It'll feel sooooo refreshing and even more soothing when applied in the morning and as the cream moves to the side, I won't need to dip my fingernails in, but use the back of my nail to scoop out some product!

One slight downer I've noticed that when too much is applied to the skin, it can leave this very (very!) slight greasy layer/feel on the skin which although is probably unnoticeable to most, I thought I'd just point that out.

Besides that and the not so sanitary packaging, the cream doesn't contain SPF which means it can be used as night cream, but on the other hand, you'll have to use an extra product for sun protection in daytime. I don't really mind since I always use my own SPF product anyways.

In the end, it's of nice quality, the amount provided is overwhelming (fully filled jar!! Talk about releasing your inner Asian :P) and the price is just awesome! ^_^ $6.59 baby!

What do you think?

Johnson's Moisturising Day Cream retails for $6.59 at leading supermarkets, variety stores and pharmacies nationally.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Daily Face LIGHTWEIGHT Sunscreen Lotion Review

Back in the yonks, all I relied on for sun protection were my foundations, moisturisers and everything else under the sun except sunscreens.

Never understood the importance of sunscreen until last year and I'm not sure why. It's like I woke up one day and suddenly realised the importance of sunscreen!

I'm not even kidding.

But the ultimate equation is:

no SPF = sun spots + uneven and darken of acne scars and pigmentations + wrinkles + higher chance of skin cancer + bad stuff, badder stuff + etc (in the long run)

The only sunscreen I own right now is the Ultra Sheer Daily Face 'Lightweight' Sunscreen Lotion by Neutrogena which comes in a neatly packaged squeeze tube.

This sunscreen seriously has the BEST packaging! Product has never leaked, can be controlled by the size of the dispensing hole and the inside of the twist-on cap always remain clean. Like a nail polish, you'll have to shake it up before usage. There's a solid inside, so it's actually lots of fun to use in the morning to wake up the family. Jks, it's not that loud.

This product is briefly described as a 'light weight and oil-free sunscreen which moisturises for soft and smooth skin', whilst 'protecting the skin from burns and UVA/UVB rays which causes fine lines' by Neutrogena.

Yes. The lotion itself is extremely light weight and seriously feels like almost nothing on my skin. It IS recommended for normal-combination skin, so for drier skin types (like moi), you will need to make up to the hydration with a creamier moisturiser.

The sunscreen lotion applies on silky, blends very well and leave you with extremely smooth and silky skin, which almost feels as if you've applied a make-up base/primer. A little of this stuff goes a long way, so 30mL will last you a while!

Lastly, Neutrogena products are generally dermatologist tested, non-comedogenic and hypo-allergenic.. I thought I'd just chuck that in just in case you are wondering!

Overall

A light-weight sunscreen lotion which is most suitable for normal and combination to oily skin types. Applies silky, blends effortlessly, leave skin feeling primer-smooth and only requires a small amount of product for the whole face. Product is contained in a small handy shake-up squeeze tube which is not only cute and convenient, but also travel friendly for the handbags and manbags!

Do you use sunscreen lotions/sunblocks, or do you rely on SPF from other face products?

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Daily Face Sunscreen Lotion 30+ retails for $14.99 at your local Priceline, Big W, Woolworths, Coles, Target and other Neutrogena stockists.

Clean&Clear Morning Burst Facial Cleanser Review

Ok, this facial cleanser is an interesting one.

Contained in a practical and hygienic transparent squeeze bottle, Clean&Clear's Morning Burst Facial Cleanser is a foaming cleanser 'fomulated with Bursting Beads with vitamin C and ginseng to provide nourishment for the skin', recommended for normal, oily and combination skin types.

Doesn't the product inside the bottle look amazing? When I first saw it, I imagined the product to be somewhat 'scrubby' like an exfoliater, considering all the pretty beads and knowing that the range targets younger teens (in most cases, have acne-prone skin from unhealthy diet and screwed up sleeping patterns).

It's not though. It's just your regular gel cleanser with cute and colourful, floating beads that immediately 'bursts' as you press against them. It may look like there's lotsa beads, but most of them stick to the inside of the bottle, so I'd only get about 4-5 beads per use.

For reference, my skin lacks [a whole lot of] moisture and hydration in texture, but can be shiny in appearance, with fewer pimples here and there at random times. My main concerns are the drier patchy areas though, so I'd usually ditch foaming cleansers altogether (since they can be quite abrasive).

To my surprise, this cleanser is impressively gentle on the skin whilst still maintaining a great job at cleansing the morning skin's impurities, although in cooler seasons, it can be a tad drying. Frankly, I didn't notice any improvements in tone, texture or appearance, although my sister (of oily and acne-prone skin) says she sees little improvements with her small, bumpy pimples.

One last thing I personally love is the fresh and fruity citrus scent in this cleanser which essentially is the main deal of the overall product. It is described to help waken up the morning's skin and senses. Not sure about you, but I generally don't really work my sense of smell during cleansing routines to avoid cleanser up my nose, but when I do, I do find it to be quite nice and refreshing for the morning.

Overall

An oil-free and hypoallergenic gel-based cleanser formulated with tiny cute [Bursting] Beads (proclaims to contain vitamins) that breaks upon use. Doesn't strip off the skin's natural oils and doesn't leave that 'tight' feeling, but also doesn't provide any additional moisture. Contains a refreshing fruity citrus scent which is great for the early mornings to help freshen up both the skin and sense of smell. Product is contained in a perfect transparent squeeze bottle which is not only travel-friendly, but also allows you to see how much product is left. Most likely not the best choice for drier skin types since it does have the potential to leave the skin feeling tight and dry, especially in the cooler seasons. However, very suitable for normal, oily, combination skin and acne-prone skin.

Have you tried this cleanser or any other products by Clean&Clear?
I've tried their Essential Moisturiser which is also great for normal, oily and combo skin!

Clean&Clear Morning Burst Facial Cleanser retails for $10.99 (240mL) at Priceline, leading supermarkets, variety stores and pharmacies.

Clean&Clear Essentials Moisturiser SPF15 Review

Clean&Clear Essentials Moisturiser was one of the first fewer moisturisers I've purchased when I started taking care of ma' skin and I've wrote about this product in my December Empties post.. How I've been liking it for my combo-oily-dry skin and how I finally finished it to find that it was discontinued!

Fortunately, it's confirmed that the product was just repackaged and renamed with added SPF.

The moisturiser comes in a white bottle with all the information you need to know on the front and back of the bottle. From claims to directions, ingredients to manufacturing details, it can all be found on the packaging.

Topped with a purple cap with a small dispensing hole which is quite sanitary and travel-friendly. However, in my experience, this can get a little messy, but should be forgiveable to most users.

The product itself is just your regular white-coloured moisturising lotion with a extremely fruity scent. I usually don't mind fragrance in my skincare and cosmetics, but I found this to be a bit overwhelming. I could bear with it, but it would be nicer if it was toned down a bit.

Aside from the scent, everything about this moisturiser is perfect for normal to oily and acne-prone skin as it's oil-free, non-greasy, contains salicylic acid (to help prevent pimples) and has SPF 15. I think extremely oily skin types might feel slightly uncomfortable as it's not the most lightweight moisturiser, unless you like to be able to feel it on your skin (I do!).

This moisturiser is extremely easy to blend and sinks right into my skin right after! What I love about this moisturiser is that it leaves my skin feeling so silky and soft throughout the day!

I have to say that this new and improved formula is much better than the older one. The older one was a tad more runny and didn't leave my skin feeling smooth and silky like this one, although it was more lightweight and didn't contain an over-the-top smell.

For your convenience, there's also another version of this moisturiser which doesn't contain SPF so it'll be much more suitable for your night routine as we all know sleeping with SPF is totally necessary. *end sarcasm

Overall
This moisturiser is lightweight, oil-free, contains SPF 15 and salicylic acid, doesn't clog pores, non-greasy and leaves my skin feeling soft and silky throughout the day. A downfall could possibly be the fruity fragrance which can be a little overwhelming for those with fragrance fears. Besides that, it is perfect for all skin types (including acne-prone) except drier skin. If you flare up a tad (like me), you might be able to use this. However, drier skin types should pass to seek for a richer moisturiser which will be much more helpful.

Clean&Clear Essentials Moisturisers (100mL) retails for $7.99 at Priceline.

Review: Aveeno Moisturizing Cream

Who doesn't have dry skin? Not me. Everyone certainly must have dry skin at some point in their life, whether it's on your body or face. Lately, for me, my body has been heaps dry and as much as I LOVE the Bath & Body Works Body Lotions, they're just not moisturizing enough so I set seek for a cream which will keep my skin moisturized without having to apply every single day...

I'm one. Lazy. Bumhole. Hehehe.

So I picked up this jar of moisturizing cream by Aveeno. It's a creamy colour jar with a navy blue top, quite simple, however, what attracted me to this product was
its price of $12.95 (approx) as it was on SALE (so Asian!) and also the packaging stated so many damn claims and good stuff that it's not funny.

It states that:
- It's dermatologist tested
- Clinically proven to heal cracked and dry skin
- Has a cooling menthol

Dermatologist tested? I do not know.
Has a cooling menthol? I can't feel it on my body.
Heals cracked and dry skin? Yup

I really can't feel anything with this on my skin. It just feels normal. Nothing special or bad, really. However, on my face it feels very heavy with
with a cooling sensation, so if you're looking for a cream which you can use on both face and body, this is definitely not the product.
I recommend QV cream which comes in a jar and a squeeze tube <-- godly product I must say.

Anyways, today's spotlight is on Aveeno's moisturizing cream, so let's forget QV for the time being...

The cream definitely heals cracked and dry skin as stated. My arms were actually very dry lately.. probably because I've been showering in the hottest water since it's
Winter and it's so damn cold and wet here in Sydney. Poo!
I apply this cream to my body after showering and then let it absorb for a few mintues. Using this cream has gave me a quick result of moisturized skin and not to mention
I only use this every second day because I do get lazy... so yap!

I find the lotions (besides Nivea) to be too watery and texture so I don't like it since it didn't do jack for my skin! Waste of money.

Anyways, I'm not saying this is the BEST moisturizing but it certainly does fit in one of the BEST. It's easy to blend, does its moisturizing job, has a pleasant scent, heals cracked and
dry skin, affordable for its size and available locally at Priceline (or other pharmacies). The only thing I don't like about it is that it feels to heavy on my face
and it's in a jar packaging so you better get your hands and fingers cleaned before dipping it in and out of the jar... for any of you hygiene freaks of course. Personally,
I try to keep my fingers as clean as possible (therefore only apply after shower), but if I had to use it on-the-go then I don't care because it's going on my body anyways,
not my face.

Ok, so for the lazy gals who will scroll down here to see the PROs and CONs and/or the gals who will get up to this overall section after patiently reading, here it is:

PROs:
  • Affordable
  • Easy to blend
  • Moisturizes heavily
  • Large size tub
  • Pleasant scent (personal)
  • Available locally
  • Cooling sensation [on face and/or body]
  • Dermatologist tested
  • Came sealed inside packaging

CONs:
  • Not suitable for face as it feels very heavy
  • Large size tub can also be a con
  • Jarred-packaging, therefore is not sanitary

Yes. Take my word for it. I recommend this product and I hope you find this post helpful!

Yours deerest,

Review: B.Liv by Cellnique (Drench Me & Submerge Me)

Hello world!
How have you guys all been?

Not too long ago... I was sent two products from B.LIV by Cellnique to review for my fellow followers which includes: Submerge Me & Drench Me.

So if you're not familiar with this company, let's do a little research!

Cellnique is a company based in Malaysia and Singapore, offering the products of the finest quality to treat several different cases of skin problems/types. Their range includes: acne, aging, congestion, discoloration, dehydration, open pores, sensitive and scarring.

B.LIV, originally named 'Cellnique Pro-Series' is one of their release lines targetting a total of 4 different ranges. This includes the: blackhead range, large pores range, blemish/acne range and a range for people with dry skin!

Each range has approximately 3~4 products to help improve your skin conditions and prices varies.

I think what interests me most is their '14-days money back guranteed' policy. Promising a refund if the products were not performing up to the customer's expectation within 14 days of purchase! They also offer exchanges for faulty products. i.e. if the pump is not working properly. Great policy! :)

Okay.. so first off!

----------------------------------

Packaging
I really DO like the packaging of this bottle. The pump works really well! One full pump would give approximately be about 1/30 of the bottle, which is quite alot since you're only suppose to use 1-2 pea-sized drops at a time. No complains about the pump.

The bottle is NOT transparent, however is little see-through which allows you to check your usage... which is great! :)

For size comparison with my phone

On the back of the bottle, details the ingredients, directions, claims and the website.
Twisting off the cap of the bottle...

I absolutely LOVE the packaging design of the bottle! Am happy that after finishing this product, I could re-use the bottle for another product! :)

When I received it.. it came like this..

Great stuff! If I were to camp, sleepover or travel elsewhere.. I could definitely put this in my bag without having to worry it will be a mess. Thank you for the invention of the little clip, stopping from accidental pumps! :)

I'm not sure if this product had any box packaging, when I both products.. Drench Me didn't have a box packaging, so I highly doubt it.

Anyways, before you say I'm so easily amused.. hawhaw :D

Scent
I can definitely smell the Aloe Vera, however I don't know about any other particular substances which contributes to the scent. I'd say the scent is very pleasant and does not bother me at all. Smells yummy :3

Texture
This product is a cleansing gel, so no doubt, is in gel form. The gel has a brown shade to it, just a little brown, but that shouldn't matter - although, at times, I do wonder why it's brown LOL :|

Now.. I use this together with 'Submerge Me' which is a moisturizing booster, so I'll try my best to tell you about ! :)

I use this in the morning when I wake up.. or shall I say.. at noon since I've been waking up at 2PM every day and I really do like it! The after-feel feels sooo good! My skin feels so soft and smooth!
After about 10 minutes of using this, my skin isn't as dry anymore, however is still a little bit flaky. However, do take into consideration that I don't exfoliate. I only exfoliate.. maybe once a month when I'm bothered :P

This moisturizing gel works pretty well and the product itself, does not have any downfalls. The only factor to consider is the price. US$25.00 for this bottle, I think is somewhat pricey.
Before putting my hands onto this product, I was using Bioglo's Skin Perfecting Cleanser and would say they are quite comparable. However, for Bioglo, my skin feels a little bit tighter after.. however that doesn't bother me.
They both remove my make-up, noting that my make-up routine consist of:
- Moisturizer
- Maybelline Mineral Liquid Foundation
- American Beauty Powder
- Australis Ready Set Go Finishing Powder

So for me.. after finishing this bottle of DrenchMe, I'd most likely go back to my Bioglo's Skin Perfecting Cleanser since it's only AUD$10.50 and works almost the same. Pin-pointing that it also consist of Aloe Vera, so it would be quite comparable to Bliv.

Packaging
Like Drench Me, you can reuse this bottle after it's finished. I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE PACKAGING!! :D I'm such a suckup for packagings, but I really think that a professional company should be able to have their packaging carefully designed to reflect off some sort of reliabity.

A small dispensing hole, so neat!

Also has a small cap which makes it extra or perhaps, very handy for travelling.

The expiration date is located on the bottom side of the bottle and the bottle is not as transparent as Drench Me for you to actually see how much product you have used. Sucks?

Scent
There's nothing unpleasant about the scent, in my opinion. Doesn't smell like chemicals or anything.

Texture
When applied to face, it's not sticky or greasy. It's a lotion form like any other moisturizer.

Product
As mentioned, I use this WITH Drench Me, a cleansing gel, therefore both products combined give me the result stated below, not only this individual product.

Submerge Me is a moisturizing booster. At first, I didn't know that this was a serum-kinda-product. I thought it was a moisturizer, therefore I used it in my skincare routine, thinking that it was moisturizer. So for the first fewer days, I used this in my make-up routine as a moisturizer instead. I was actually supposed to use this product before moisturizing and after cleansing. So... yup.

I don't find that it held my makeup or primed it in any sense. Nor did it ruin my foundation coverage or lasting time. It never claimed to do so anyways.

After weeks of using this, my skin has got much better! From VERY flaky to little flaky now, ONCE AGAIN, taking into consideration that I don't exfoliate as often. I would say once every fortnight or before any special occasions.

When applied to face, in less than 1 minute, I would say 30seconds, the product would quickly be absorbed into my skin. I really don't like products that take its time to absorb into my skin. Just because when I rush out.. I don't have enough time to complete my foundation routine :(

But good thing is this does absorb quickly and also hydrates my skin. My skin is no longer very very flaky anymore. And also, after using this product for quite a while, my skin is more glowy now... does that make sense? It just looks little more healthy now, and more glowy, as if I highlighted my cheekbones :3 It's great!!

Before & After

OVERALL FOR BOTH PRODUCTS: I DO recommend both products! However, considering their price.. they are way too pricey. So if you are urging to look for a product to help your dry flaky skin (like mine) and money isn't a downfall, do check out their range. However, I am still a jobless student, so... And I really think there are fewer products comparable to Drench Me, however, not so much for Submerge Me. So if you've came to an end, do check out Submerge Me as a moisturizing booster.
